Marketing Fail – Groupon Style

I adore Groupon as a concept; I think the business model is compelling and I have discovered a variety of great local businesses to frequent as a result of my daily emails. Plus, I can almost always get a half-priced manicure/pedicure!

However, today, Groupon made a major marketing mis-step. Take a look at the email I received:

Hey Groupon – not so much with the handle on basic biology, eh?
